Visit the stables where courtiers mill about, taking out their mounts to go hunting or for a ride in the countryside. The stable yard is a busy place where courtiers and servants alike come and go and the smell of horses is heavy in the air. Dirt is almost constantly being stirred up from all the movement. Within the stables themselves, the air is musty and heavy with the sweet scent of hay and the pungent odor of manure.

Or you can practice tilting on the green. But tilting is not the only activity one can partake in on the green. Play bowls, go for a walk, or take part in the new and rather interesting game that's becoming increasingly popular: tennis.
