Title: Feudalism
Description: The Game

Lord Wylyham Everard - January 4, 2008 03:53 PM (GMT)
I need at least a dozen people for this to work, but it's a game I learned in junior high. It shows quite clearly that just being the king doesn't make you the most powerful. And the danger of Vikings and Moors.

Sign up below, or, the admins can take me off the air if I'm out of line. You never know without asking.

I'll play. Maybe you'll attract more people if you put more information in the initial post?

Ok, a brief description.

If we get a dozen people, one person will be declaired King (or Queen) and given all the land. Land is basically currency, as it was under the feudalism system. Land can be divided down into 1/10. If there are more people, I may up the number of rulers.

Everyone else is a knight.

The biggest causes of deaths:

Starvation: (Kings need 1.5 manors, Knights need .9 manors to be free of starvation)

Vikings: (Four fighters can defend against viking raids.)

Moors: (Five fighters are needed. Moors were better fighters historically)

Pestilence: (Only happens if you piss me off)

Basically, you trade land for people to defend you. Every round, a moor attack, a viking attack, and starvation will strike each one. If you can't raise enough support (or have enough land) you are out for that round.

Make all the deals you want via PM. You only need to post if you are aiding someone or giving land. I'll keep track of who has how much land.
