A few things to note:

1) SC is an alternate history RPG set roughly in the 16th century in our version of England which is called Adesia.

2) SC is divided into 6 IC areas, or duchies (including the royal court of King Ambrose). You pick a duchy to belong to and though you can visit other duchies, that one duchy will be your main RPing area. The Duke and Duchess of the duchy are in charge of... well that duchy lol. (Please note that you can not be born in the royal court, but you can and are encouraged to visit there).

3) Adesia has just been united into a kingdom by the self-proclaimed King Ambrose Beauchamp. Being the first king of Adesia, Ambrose is still unsteady upon his throne and has no claim to it (besides the fact that he took it by force).

4) SC is very member-driven. Even though SC is our (mine and Coty's) creation, it would be nothing without our dedicated member base. To them, we owe so much and so, it is as much their creation as it is mine.

Picking a Name:
The name you pick for your account will be the name of your character. If you are joining as a courtier you will need to join as Lord or Lady So-and-So. First and Last names included, please. (Note: You can not start out as anything other than a lord or lady unless you have permission from the admins). If you are joining as a commoner, then you will just need a first and last name. Here is a guide I made on picking a name suitable to the time period.

Filling out a Character Sheet:
Next (after joining and picking out a suitable name and reading through the Game Information), you will need to fill out a Character Sheet and have it approved before you can start RPing here in SC. Some things to keep in mind when filling out your Character Sheet:

1) Be as descriptive as possible.
2) Use your best writing please.
3) Use the starting items for the class and gender of your character (noble, commoner, male, female).
4) Pick the duchy that you think fits your character the best for your native duchy.


Other/Special Characters:
Special characters would include adoptables/canons (which we don't have right now but will in the future) or members of the five great families (those that run the duchies). Right now, if you want to be a member of a great family you must have permission from the leader of that family.
