1. No sassing/harassing the staff. The staff consists of Admin, Co-admin, and Moderators. And this applies to both on SC and off. True, we can not punish you when you are away from the boards of SC, but we might get a little cranky ;)
2. No flaming.
3. No racist/sexist remarks.
4. Please do not carry OOC (out of character) arguments into IC (in character) play, or vice versa.
5. If you have a problem with the admin or another member, please contact a member of the staff immediately so that the matter can be resolved calmly and ASAP :).
6. This is a PG-13 RPG, so you may curse, as long as you're not "dropping f-bombs" and you may refer to sex, as long as you don't go into great detail about it.
7. You may put whatever you want in your signature - even advertise other boards - as long as it is appropriate and doesn't stretch the page, or slow down loading times.
8. There is a ten sentences minimum on all IC posts. We know that everyone gets writer's block from time to time, but ten sentences isn't that hard to do :).
9. Basic proper English must be used in ALL posts. I don't care about fragments. I don't care about run-ons. What I do care about is capitalization, punctuation, and spelling. Shift keys are included on a keyboard for a reason darlings :). If you need help with capitalization or punctuation rules, please feel free to contact one of our friendly staff.
10. No power-playing/god-modding.
11. And finally, though this should be common sense, no advertising other sites except on the advertising board :) thank you.
EDIT: Update - and this isn't really a rule but just a notice... there are two religions here in SC: Catholicism and Protestantism. HOWEVER if it bothers you to RP religion, you have a few options:
(1) Stay away from religion IC (in other words, don't go frolicking up into a chapel or parish... and Harleston is probably not the best place for you lol. Unless you'd like to lead a religious rebellion ;) haha... Alma don't kill me ^-^)
(2) Just RP that you believe in a god, as in one god, as in monotheistic religion (if you'd rather not label yourself IC)
