Okay so my name is Stefanie, or Steff, and I am also new to the group. I've been Rping for a few years, but it has been mostly just AOL RP. I have just been recently getting into these message board only groups. So, anyway, I'm a senior in highschool aaand I plain on going to school for secondary education in either English of German. Or possibly another language if I come across one I like more then German. Or maybe just Linguistics in general. Ummm I *love* Fantasy/medieval things. Ren faires, D&D, LARP, RPGs, and such. I am quite the nerd. ^.^ And I read profusely. Mostly fantasy medieval genre of some historical fiction. I listen to a lot of folk and folk metal, horse back ride, and sit on my computer all day!

haha, nice to meet another senior. Kinda hard to believe we'll be graduating soon, isn't it. I still haven't ben able to wrap my mind around it. But I hope the best of luck in you college experience (teaching High School would not be something I think I would do well with. lol)

As for the question, I think so. I think the standard German that I am learning is the closer to High German opposed what they speak in the south...
