Title: Where your supposed to be
Description: lowlifes welcome
Richard Banning - April 20, 2008 03:04 AM (GMT)
Richard sat in a small bar, a restaurant type setting near the docks. Though no one ever ate there. Just drank. Lowlifes and scum. Rejects and losers. Devils and whores. The kind of place that felt like home to some, even if for a few hours out of the day. Holding a dirty mug as he kept his legs kicked up on the table, Richard relaxed with his shirt open, showing his muscular body a bit.
His Grey vest was unbuttoned as well and he didn't bother to make company. He say alone, thinking of his travels and finally being home. His sword sat on his left hip and while he glanced around the bar and wondered why exactly it had taken him so long to decide he should come here. His trips to Pemberton and Harleston, his "home," had provided some...entertainment. But these were the type of people he really connected with.
Lady Florence Yaxley - April 20, 2008 10:56 PM (GMT)
Florence didn't really know why she was at the coast. She barely even knew how she got there. All she knew is that she'd woken up this morning and felt incredibly restless. Smothered. She called up a carriage and took it to the Viridian Sea, sleeping most of the way. And now that she was there, she didn't really know what to do with herself.
She wandered around the town, lifting up her skirts slightly to avoid them dragging in the mud. Her pale blue gown was not suited for this weather. She looked up at the sky and a raindrop splattered on her face, right in the middle of her forehead. Right. She needed to get inside, and fast, or she was going to be caught in the middle of a rainstorm. She looked to her left and saw a small dingy bar. Well, it would have to do for now; the rain was already coming down harder.
Walking in, she instantly felt out of place. There was a musty smell about the place, and it was filled with disreputable-looking people. A man leered at her, revealing many blackened and missing teeth. She shuddered slightly and looked around frantically for a place to sit. Her eye fell on an attractive man, sitting at a table, his shirt open and revealing a muscular body.
She strolled over to the table he was sitting at, moving her hips so that her skirts shook around her legs. As she approached him, a smile spread over her face. "Excuse me, kind sir. Mind if I sit here?" she asked in her most girlish voice.
Richard Banning - April 20, 2008 11:09 PM (GMT)
Looking up from his table for once as he hummed a tune to himself(you know which) that rather annoyed some around him, he saw a woman. He just shook his head and squinted, wondering how in the hell she was the 3rd red head in a row that he had seen. He smirked as she watched her move and did not notice anyone come in after her. She must have been meeting someone here. Or maybe just looking for trouble.
As he looked he saw her eyes fall upon him and he closed his, taking a sip of his drink while he turned a bit, but left his legs on the table. He fixed his sleeves and raised his hand, pointing his finger for the service of another ale. Was she actually coming over? He smirked and brushed his hand over her head and moved his legs as she approached. He watched her hips sway and looked her up and down not knowing what to think yet. He was sure he didn't know her.
"No ma'am, you may sit. Choose your seat." He moved out the only other chair at the table and then slapped his knee as he looked at her and waited for her to choose. "May I have you name, my lady?" As the tender came over brandishing two mug of ale, he dropped them to the table and Richard nodded to him without taking his eyes off of her and leaned back in the chair. "Drink?"
Lady Florence Yaxley - April 21, 2008 01:10 AM (GMT)
OOC: Humming "Sexual Healing"? :)
She smiled at him as she smoothed her skirts underneath her and sat down, hoping that the filthy seat wouldn't stain her dress. The pale blue picked up stains pretty easily. She tucked her hair behind her ear nervously. She was so incredibly out of her element, out of her comfort zone. This dingy bar, alone with a strange man she didn't know...it was somewhat scandalous. But looking up at him, seeing a bit of his chest hair peeking out from the open part of his shirt, she felt a stirring low in her stomach.
She nodded at his question. "Erm...yes, of course. I--I'll have whatever you're having," she answered, her voice shaking a little bit. "I'm...Florence," she said hesitantly, not wanting to give her full name. Who knew what kind of scam this rogue would try to pull if he knew her full title? And even if he wasn't a rogue, it wouldn't be...prudent...to go around in this town telling people she was there, just in case. It could be harmful to her status if word got back to Ashton that she had been seen with a common man, alone, in a bar.
She cleared her throat. "And your name, sir?" She looked into her lap nervously, and then looked up at him again. Catching his eye, she blushed and reached up to her hair to fiddle with it a bit. She didn't know why this man, whose name she didn't even know, made her so incredibly nervous.
Richard Banning - April 21, 2008 01:26 AM (GMT)
OOC: Yes indeed my lady
"Ugh, you actually picked the chair over my lap. I'm so disappointed that you have class." Richard smiled as she sat down "well then, here you go. It's just an ale, no poison yet." Richard pushed the mug towards her and nodded, then extending his hand with palm up to take hers if she would indulge him.
"Mmm, Florance. A beautiful name to have. And a beautiful face to go along with it. Hmm, mine is Richard, Richard Banning. It's very nice to meet you." He smiled again, not able to help it much. He saw that she was somewhat nervous. Looking down and around, playing with her dress and hair. It made him curious. She had only given a first name as he just noticed and he wondered where she was from. A girl like her, alone in this place. "You are alone, Florance? I can't lie, I am wondering what brings you to my table? Well besides the free drink? Haha."
Lady Florence Yaxley - April 21, 2008 01:43 AM (GMT)
Florence flushed at his somewhat scandalous remark, but couldn't suppress a giggle. "Yes, well..." she started, but she didn't know what to say. Instead, she took the mug of ale and took a sip. It was stronger than she expected and she sputtered a bit and coughed. Flushing even deeper, she murmured, "Pardon me. It's...it's a little strong." She twisted a strand of hair around her finger again.
She then noticed his outstretched hand and released her hair and took it. "It's very nice to meet you as well." At his next remark, she laughed and tossed her hair. "Why, thank you sir. The beautiful name, and the beautiful face, are both thanks to my parents." It wasn't the first time she had been told she was beautiful, but it was certainly the most...interesting time.
Florence looked up at him, thinking over her response to his question. "Yes, I am alone. I don't really know why I am at this table. I don't even know why I am in this town." She laughed and shrugged. "I just woke up this morning and just felt so...so bored. Life got predictable. Every day was the same as the previous one. So I decided to come here. And then it started to rain, so I came in here. I saw you..." she shrugged again, "and you looked...nice, so I decided to join you." She giggled. "And of course, the free ale."
Richard Banning - April 21, 2008 01:56 AM (GMT)
Richard just sat watching as laughing along with her as she took a sip of her drink. "Oh? Strong is it? Well the best way to deal with a drink like that is to down it, then you wont have to keep tasting it." Richard toasted his mug to her own and then took it down cleanly as tilted his head. He placed it on the table and then pushed it away, smiled as he nodded to her to see if she would, or could do the same.
"As she gave him her hand, he took it, rubbing his thumb over her knuckle and the kissing it as he slid his chair closer and leaned in as he looked up at her. He let her go, and then watched her get embarrassed all over again.
"Oh really? Well sometimes, Florence, you always end up where you are supposed to be. even if you did not intend to go there in the first place. Though, maybe I can help you figure out why you are at this table. Haha looked nice? What, I don't look like anymore?" As his medallion hung from his neck he looked at her and rose his brow, humoring her and rubbing his chin. "Either way I am glad you are here. You still look nice to me, do not worry about that. And I take it from your boldness that you are neither engaged nor married? tell em I'm wrong."
Lady Florence Yaxley - April 21, 2008 04:29 AM (GMT)
Florence looked up at him, considering his comment, then looked down at her drink. She then looked around the grubby bar, just in case there was someone there that she knew. However, they all looked like pirates and prostitutes. So she picked up her mug and took a large gulp. She choked and coughed, but she kept drinking until it stopped burning and the glass was empty. She set it down on the table and sighed. "Wow. It really is strong." The room sort of spun a little in front of her eyes.
She was a bit shocked that he kissed her hand, but the spot where his lips touched her skin tingled a bit after he let go. She looked down at the table slightly embarrassedly as he talked. "Perhaps that's true." She looked up. "Perhaps we do end up where we should be." She smiled at him. Although the alcohol was blurring her vision, it was also giving her confidence. She then blushed. "Of course not, sir. You still look nice." She smiled at him again, and said, leaning in, "You are correct. I am not engaged, and I am definitely not married. Free as a bird." She laughed quietly. "And how lucky that has turned out to be."
Richard Banning - April 21, 2008 03:10 PM (GMT)
"That's right it is strong. What other way is there, young lady?" Richard smiled and held his hand up again, ordering two more ales for the pair of them. He smiled as they were bought and immediately pushed the other over to her. "I'm sorry, distance sickens me. I cannot bare another second to sit so far from such a beautiful woman who has come to enjoy my company. Besides, I may need to make sure none of these low lifes try anything with you. Those men have been eying you eagerly. They probably entertain the thought of attelpting to snatch you up when you leave. Your lucky you have me to protect you."
Richard smirked, smooth in his speech he was and he looked at her eagerly as well. He moved his chair next to her and them handed her the next mug. "Lucky indeed Ms. Free as a bird, Florence. I would say you got what you came for. Though, there are many other women here, perhaps I shall leave with them instead." Richard nodded to her slowly and then looked around to show her the women. He only joked at the moment, wondering what she would think, and he laughed to himself as he caught a glimpse of her neck line and trailed down it, wondering what was under her dress.
Lady Florence Yaxley - April 21, 2008 10:37 PM (GMT)
Florence laughed at his joke. "Well, the drinks I usually partake in are pretty weak. You can drink much more before you become...out of sorts." She giggled slightly. Her head felt like it was filled with bubbles. She picked up her second mug of ale and took a long sip. As opposed to the burning taste of the first mug, it tasted warm and caramel-y. She laughed again as he said "distance sickens me" and moved closer to her.
"You may come as close as you want, my dear sir," she told him flirtatiously, fluttering her eyelashes. "If you are right, and these men are after my person, then I am lucky to have you as my protector. She smiled at him. She listened carefully as he said that she got what she came for. Her tone grew slightly icy. "I'm sure I don't know what you mean, sir. I did not come here to meet a man, it was merely a coincidence that I arrived in this bar." She took a dignified sip of her drink. "Perhaps you should think of that before you make untoward statements." She noticed his gaze looking at her neckline and her hands nervously fluttered to her throat.
Richard Banning - April 21, 2008 10:54 PM (GMT)
"Weak drinks? What kind of boys have you been hanging around, Ms. Florence? I mean theres just no excuse for that really." Richard smiled, glad she took in her next drink and he enjoyed his, happy to have some company. What was with his luck lately?
"Yes, you will find that I am a good protector indeed. And sometimes being as close helps. But if I get I get too close, we may end up making a scene. Not that I care too much who sees. It is bound to be a spectacle either way. And madam, haha while you may not have come here to find a man, you must admit that you liked what you saw when you got in. From that point, I do not know what you want. But I can help you find out."
Richard looked at the table and then leaned back slouching his arm over her shoulders. "And do not worry about the drink. You will learn to like it. As for myself, believe me every word is thought out. Every move, every intention." As she covered her throat he laughed and then took his hand to turn her chin and look her in the eyes. "You have not told me much. If I am going to be your protector you simply must indulge me. Tell me more about yourself, my lady."
Lady Florence Yaxley - April 22, 2008 01:02 AM (GMT)
Florence smiled. "The elevated circles that I am part of frown on drinking. I didn't say I agreed with it, I just said that was the way it was." She sipped her drink daintily. "I am very glad to hear that you are a good protector," she said, flirtatious again. "It would cause rather a spectacle, but I must say I don't care either." The drink was clouding her judgment, making her forget her place.
At this point, she abandoned all pretense that she was being a shy and retiring woman. She reached out her hand and set it on his knee. "I did like what I saw when I came in. And the view is much better up close." She grinned languidly at him. "It's good you think out your words. If you don't you end up like me." She giggled.
She then smiled at him. "There's not much to tell. I'm from Ashton, and my name is Lady Florence Ya--well, my name's Florence anyway." She still had enough control over herself to know it wouldn't be smart to give him her full name.
Richard Banning - April 22, 2008 02:24 AM (GMT)
"Oh, elevated circles. Well no wonder. I bet your glad to get away from them for a bit aren't you? And don't you worry. We are going to see how much you do not care throughout this little meeting of ours. Not the type of meeting I'd like, but a beautiful woman at my side is never a bad thing. I just have a dirty mind, I am sure you do not wish to hear it...or do you?"
"Mmm indeed it is." Richard said as he looked in her eyes, then tracing her face and down to her chest. He looked for but a second and then back to her as she spoke and listened. She reached to his knee and touched him as she looked to play a little. He looked at her hand and smiled, wondering if it was only her drinks. He hoped not.
"I wouldn't say that. Your words have come out quite clear to me this evening. Florence..Yes something haha. You do not need to worry about me. I am not going to ruin your good name, my lady. If it is even that good to begin with. Who knows, you could be a lady of the night, come to take all my money by way of her services. You never know. I could be a ruthless pirate as well."
Lady Florence Yaxley - April 22, 2008 02:49 AM (GMT)
Florence laughed, tossing her hair. "Well, running in those circles can be enjoyable at times, but yes, I am a bit relieved to get away from them." She grinned at him, rubbing his knee. "And I hope you'll help me enjoy it even more. And while my nice upbringing doesn't wish to hear it..." she leaned in, "there is a certain part of me that does wish to hear it," she whispered in his ear.
She then straightened up. "Well, it's good to hear you know how to be discreet. Many men aren't." She winked at him. "Not that I know anything about that, of course." She sipped from her drink, feeling more and more forward by the moment.
She then laughed. "I? A lady of the night? Well, well. If that's what you think, then I haven't made a very good impression on you." She giggled. "And if you were really a pirate...well, I think that would be rather exciting." She leaned in again. "Would you like to go somewhere quiet? Perhaps get to know each other a little better?" She set her drink down and reached up to stroke his cheek. The stubble rubbed her fingers. "I do find our...conversation...so intriguing." She smiled.
Richard Banning - April 22, 2008 03:19 AM (GMT)
"Mhmm, that's what I thought then. And you don't need to worry about me. I can help you enjoy quite a bit, my lady. Nice upbringing or not, you will have fun. "As she rubbed his knee and leaned in he looked at her, almost flinching and let his smile get even wider. "That is good to hear, Florence. I hope it is large part. If so, then maybe I will show you all of my large parts."
Richard whispered back and then took a deep breath and blew out the candle on their table there was still enough light in the pub and near them as well, but the flickering annoyed him, and besides that he wanted a little privacy. "That's much better. I bet you like it dark, don't you?"
"Oh, oh of course not, Florence, I wouldn't even think it." Richard rolled his eyes playfully and then watched her hand rub his knee again. "Hmm excited by pirates eh? Well I wouldn't blame you. Women are drawn to dangerous things. And I would certainly like to know you better, Florence. If you think leaving will do the trick, then I am with you." As she stroked his face, Richard leaned into her more, about to kiss her, but then he stood up and offered his hand for their leave.
Lady Florence Yaxley - April 22, 2008 03:36 AM (GMT)
Florence grinned at him and winked. "I'm sure I will, dear sir. And you are right; the dark is much better." She took a deep breath as he leaned in, positive he was going to kiss her. But then he pulled away, stood up, and offered his hand to her. She smiled and took it. She decided to tease him as well. She leaned in, close, and then closer. Right before her lips touched his, she whispered, "Follow me."
She walked over to the bar and motioned to the bartender to come over. "Excuse me, sir? You have room upstairs, yes?"
The bartender merely stared at her, seeming to have never been addressed by a woman of her status before.
"Sir?"
He nodded in response.
"My--erm, my husband and I would like one," she lied quickly.
He looked at her "husband", looked back at her, and leered. "Of course, madam," he said in a deep, greasy voice. He turned around, grabbed a key, and gave it to her. "Room 6. Up the stairs and to the left."
Florence took the key from him and smiled. She took Richard's hand again and led him over to the stairs. She turned around and spoke to him. "Do you...I mean, is this alright with you?" she said, suddenly shy.
Richard Banning - April 22, 2008 04:11 AM (GMT)
"Haha oh ok, I see you can play just as well." Richard smirked as she came into him and then turned to leave. She walked to the bar and he wondered what she was doing. The bartender just looked at her and stared, not knowing who in the hell she was.
"Husband?" He whispered. And smiled at her as she actually managed to get the key. "Don't look at me like that, Florence. Move those sexy legs and get up stairs before I drag you up there." Richard smiled while she guided him and look kind of unsure and shy as she did when she entered the pub. "Maybe this will bring back that confidence, my fine young woman." Richard sneered at her, moving up the steps and kissing her hard, passionately while he held her waist. he let her go soon and then walked ahead as he looked for the room. "I know you don't want me to change my mind."
Lady Florence Yaxley - April 23, 2008 12:00 AM (GMT)
Florence smiled, regaining her confidence and following him up the stairs. She was shocked when he kissed her, and when he released her she almost fell over. "Oh...my," she whispered to herself as she followed him blindly to the room. She saw the number on the door and said, "Here it is." She fumbled with the key in the lock, but finally got it in and turned it. The door swung open to reveal a dark and dingy room. A dusty mirror hung on the wall, and the bed had a moth-eaten cover.
Now that they were there, Florence didn't really know what to do. She walked over to the bed and daintily sat down on it, smoothing her skirts. She looked up at Richard. "Erm...I don't do this too often. Or ever. I'm not really sure what to--well, I don't know what to do." She twirled her hair nervously. "Should I...I mean, do you want me to...um...take off my dress?" Her heart was pounding and her hands were shaking.
Richard Banning - April 23, 2008 12:22 AM (GMT)
As she struggled with the key a little bit, Richard took it upon himself to unbutton his vest and then peered into the room upon opening. He looked around as he stepped in after her and then smirked, not expecting much more than this. It was fine. But knew could see the surprise on the fair lady's face.
"Haha well, this is what he have, let us make due." Richard watched her sit on the bed nervously while she fumbled with her hair and looked around a bit. He was surprised by her demeanor and as he walked towards her, he moved her hand and brushed her hair away. "So you don't do this often? Haha or at all. I find it hard to believe. But only because you are so beautiful. The fools that have met you before me, have wasted their lives by not taking the opportunity, or seeking it out. Look at me."
He smirked, looking at the wreck that she was right now, and he moved his hands towards her as he sat, helping her remove her dress for her. "You will learn quickly I'm sure, my lady, Florence." He pushed her back to the bed and smiled as he looked upon her body and began to undress as well.
Lady Florence Yaxley - April 23, 2008 03:47 AM (GMT)
Florence frowned slightly. "You don't believe me? Well, you'll soon find out, sir." She smiled nervously at him, her mouth quivering a bit at the corners. She stood up after he finished undressing her so that her dress fell to the floor. Then he pushed her back and she squeaked a little with nervousness. She was clad in only her undergarments, and so, with shaking hands, she began to remove them.
She sat up so she could pull everything over her head and down to her ankles. When she was finished she was clad only in her corset. She didn't know how to ask him for help so she struggled to remove it herself. She stretched and reached but couldn't get the laces undone. She stood up and asked nervously, "Can you help me? I can't seem to remove it myself." She shivered slightly as the wind passed over her naked backside. She reached out and touched his chest, which was no longer covered by his shirt.
Richard Banning - April 23, 2008 04:20 AM (GMT)
"Yes, we will indeed find out. But you don't need to be shy around me, dear lady, it is only us, and I am about to show you to a lovely time. Something I can see that you are in need of." Richard looked at her gorgeous body and smiled again. "Yes, I will help, come here."
Richard smiled, watching her body move and admiring it as he helped her take it all off. He was experienced with such things and as she touched his chest, he left her naked and then asked the same of her, letting her take off his pants. He dropped them and showed himself to her, and moving her towards the bed as he moved her to her back and looked over her.
She was still quit nervous, and as he lay there, he began to kiss her neck, and rubbed her all over, trying to relax her, and get her into it. Ready to give her a night of pleasure, Richard kissed her body down to her chest and held her there as he tried to assure her she was fine.
Lady Florence Yaxley - April 23, 2008 05:05 AM (GMT)
It wasn't Florence's most romantic sexual experience, but it was probably her wildest. After having sex in the bed, they did it again on the floor, then up against the door, and then in the bed again. Four times. And Florence thought that Richard could have gone on longer.
She lay in bed, under the covers, curled up against him, their naked bodies pressed against each other. She smiled as she ran her hands over his bare chest, reliving the very recent memories of their...encounters. Perhaps I should do this more often, she thought naughtily to herself. She bent over and gave him a fairly chaste kiss on the cheek, then got out of bed to put her clothes back on. "Well, that was, er, enjoyable," she said, boldly strolling about the room, allowing him to admire her body. All previous shyness had vanished.
Richard Banning - April 23, 2008 02:54 PM (GMT)
Richard smiled, breathing easily while she ran her hands over him. He lay there with her and just shook his head, thinking about the crazy night that had passed. He kissed him as she got out of bed and then slowly got her clothes back on. Richard just leaned up a bit, smiling. He really hadn't known her name. Though it wasn't the first time he had been with a woman and not known anything about her.
Richard just rose his brow while she somewhat complimented their night. "...Enjoyable indeed my lady." He looked at her and then stood to get dressed himself. "It is a shame to see all those lovely curves disappear again. "Look at you, you see this was all you needed. You are in quite the mood now, and so am I."
He walked over to her, to help her as she struggled again with the corset and then watched her again while he moved to the door. I suppose we should go down together. Since after all, I am your husband, hahaha."
He laughed and bowed playfully, then offered her his hand.
