Name: Henrik Aminoff
Age: Twenty seven
Gender: Male
Class: Kjentish Count – Emissary to Adesia
Physical Description (5 sentence minimum):
While light blonde hair and bright blue eyes with fair skin is typical of those in Southern Kjentland, the Aminoffs hail from the North where days are short and always cold. He has straight, dark brown hair that falls down to his shoulders. His sister often remarks that she is jealous of his beautiful, feminine locks. She, instead, has their father’s coarse hair. His mother says he has the face a young dog. Large mournful eyes rest beneath troubled eyebrows. Traveling further down, one will find a somewhat broad nose square in the center of his face. Finally, there are pursed lips that, although large, are almost always in a straight line.
Despite his feminine face, he has a clearly masculine build. Standing at six feet, he has broad shoulders and a torso that can be compared to a tree trunk. He is pale – like most in Kjentland - and his cheeks usually have a rose color to them, from the cold and wind. Due to his upbringing in some of the coldest regions of the known world, his dress is very warm. Long cloaks and mantles usually incorporating fur or some sort of suede are the norm.
Native Duchy: Kjentland – resides currently in the Sapphire City
History (8 sentence minimum):
Henrik was born as the second child to the Baron Erik and Baroness Justiina Aminoff. The first child, however, was stillborn. Erik was a robust man, but Justiina was extremely frail and nine years his junior. The pair of them were as different and night and day. Erik was an adviser to the King of Kjentland and was pleased to have a healthy son to take over his position. It seemed that Henrik was the perfect child - at least in his father's eyes. He grew up loving the political aspect of the kingdom rather than the social aspects. He was a living, breathing example of the family motto : Live for King and family.
Over the years, Justiina gave birth to four more children. However, only one of them survived - Valma. She became her brother's pride and joy. He was extremely protective of her and still is.
At birth, a marriage was arranged for him to the current King's daughter. She was a rather plain looking young woman with heavy lidded eyes and a quiet personality. However, she and Henrik got along well enough even early on in life. They both seemed to accept their duties and did their best to get along. Henrik also developed a close friendship with the sole son of the King, Duke Axel.
At age nineteen, he married Karoliina. His title surpassed his father and he was named Count Aminoff. Things seemed to go well for a few years and things were quiet. A year and a half after they were married, Karolinna delivered a daughter named Raina. Both Karoliina and Henrik doted upon her. She had her father's brown hair and bright green eyes that no one knew from where they came. She was a beauty, even as a child, and beloved by the people. When Raina was three, the King died and was succeeded by Axel, Henrik's closest friend. Henrik was named as a personal adviser to the King. Kjentland was smaller at that point and after becoming King, Axel seized the rest of the land on the peninsula. Kjentland was becoming a powerful country and it seemed that nothing could go wrong.
However, things did go terribly wrong. When she was six years old, Raina was riding her new pony. It was a Fjord and a birthday present from the King for his niece. A bee stung the little horse and Raina was thrown off. She broke her neck and died a few hours later. A dark cloud settled over the palace. The Aminoffs mourned terribly and Karoliina was never the same. She stopped speaking for six months after Raina died. She was only consoled by her husband or her brother. Whenever she laid her eyes on a little girl with green eyes, she burst into tears.
A few years later, she became pregnant again and it seemed like her depression had been cured. Karoliina was happy as a lark once again and then, so was Henrik. She gave birth to a son and Henrik could not have been happier. He had a son - an heir to take his title - and his wife had another child. After a few weeks, Henrik's left his wife and child for a week's time to escort his sister to meet her Dane fiance. He had been gone for two days when he received a letter from an exhausted courier saying he needed to come back immediately.
When he returned to court, he found out that the day after he had left, his wife had drowned their son and then hung herself. It seems that she was suffering from what is now known as postpartum depression. Henrik nearly fell apart. He truly did love Karoliina and was distraught to have lost her. He refused to enter their bed chambers ever again.
Karoliina's brother, Axel, took pity on his closest friend. It seemed that a new King had risen in Adesia. He decided to send Henrik to be an emissary to the new King. He wished to form an alliance with this new country. Henrik was who he trusted most to represent him in this new environment and he also wanted the opportunity for his friend to be in a new, less depressing setting.
Parents:
Father: Erik Aminoff (54)
Mother: Justiina Aminioff (45)
Siblings:
Sister: Valma Aminoff(17)
Personality:
A quiet, intellectual man, Henrik was political from birth. As a boy, rather than running around and causing havoc, he followed his father around asking political questions. He has grown to have a brilliant mind and has a passion for what he does. As an adviser to his King, he is shrewd and has wisdom beyond his years.
A serious sort of fellow, it is rare to see him laughing. Even as a child, he was never one to make a lot of jokes or be frivolous. His mother often worried that he was missing out on a childhood, but he seemed to prefer it that way. Do not mistake, he has a sense of humor. It, however, is very dry and when he finds something funny, he usually does not respond with laughter.
As far as the fairer sex is concerned, Henrik never bothered himself much with wooing and courting. His marriage was arranged for him and he saw no need to fight his family on it. Most women are treated with a politeness that borders on indifference. It seems that the only women who have ever gotten true reactions out of him were his sister and his wife.

Roleplay Sample (Two paragraph minimum - Ten sentences):
The hours before the masquerade began were a blur in Anabel Macnair's mind. Her mother had called no less than seven times and while usually her older brother, Anderson, was able to apprehend the phone and distract the woman from preying on her daughter, Anabel was not always so lucky. What are you wearing? How are you wearing your hair? Don't hide behind your brother all night. Stay away from the Howard boys. Try to get close to the younger Rosier - that is where you belong. Don't be too shy. Don't be too forward.
That woman had a criticism for everything.
Finally, Anabel had turned her cell phone, as well as her brothers, off and instructed the servants of the Stafford house to not accept any calls for them. Tell them that the siblings were at the ball already. At that, the brother/sister pair collapsed for a mere moment in exhaustion before beginning their separate processes for the evening.
While Anabel loved period clothing, Anderson thought it was ridiculous and was not looking forward to what he was being forced to wear. Anabel, on the other hand, was looking quite forward to it. Her gown was midnight blue - the color of the night sky. The bodice had silver embroidery, giving it a very classic touch. The skirt swept to the ground and the bodice clung tightly to her torso. Cap sleeves finished off the dress, resting just below her shoulders. Around her neck was a drop diamond necklace. Her mask was the same color blue as her dress and was made of velvet. It was lined in silver threading and a silver flower rested above her right eye. Her blonde curls were pinned up elegantly at her neck.
When she finished getting ready, she went to check on her brother who was wearing breeches. Nearly falling over with laughter, she grinned. "Well don't you look dapper?" He shot her a look and she stifled another giggle. Finally, the pair set off for the ball.

Anabel was standing with the other members of the Stafford house as King Viktor gave his speech. She had always thought him to be handsome, but his personality had never appealed to her in a way that went beyond being yet another brother figure. He gave a nice speech and his presence was very regal. She clapped delicately along with the rest of the room as he concluded his speaking and the ball began.
As people moved off to began dancing, Anabel stood a bit awkwardly. She danced the first dance with her brother before he was dragged away by other ladies of the court, leaving Anabel to stand alone watching the festivities.
Other: Thank you Anna for letting me play the Count!
