History: Born to a British mother and a german duke deep in Bavaria; Elsebeth in her early years knew nothing but wealth and privilage. It was was when she was five years old when things began to go wrong: Her father became a drunk and got addicted to gambling. One night while he was drunk he was so determined he was going to win a card game he bet all his wealth. He took his turn and lost everything. Having nothing, the family was forced to live as commoners under constant humiliation. Elsebeth's father could never forgive his mistake and began going insane over it, going to such lengths as abusing his wife and child. It was when Elsebeth was eight years old when her mother decided to take her back to her home duchy back in England. She didn't want to face her husband in his insane state so they left in the night. Elsebeth for the first time in years was happy with just her mother around. With the help of her mother she quickly adapted to the many differences around her and came to call England her "homeland". It was on her 13th birthday when she discovered her mother contrated a fatal illness. The next weeks were hard, having drained the two of all resourses. Finally, a month and a half later Elsebeth's mother on her deathbed gave her daughter her now most prized possession: The locket containing her mother's potrait. She liked it because it reminded Elsebeth of her family's happier days when they were all together. Two days later her mother died leaving her daughter behind to fend for herself.
